Christiana of Christiana’s Yoga, is an online vinyasa (flow-style) yoga teacher who helps students feel comfortable and confident on the yoga mat. After going through her own health transformation, she discovered how powerful and encouraging movement could be when it’s approached with patience, curiosity, and self-compassion.
Christiana completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2024 and now creates accessible, thoughtfully paced classes designed to meet students where they are. Her teaching style emphasizes clear guidance, options, and reminders that there is no “right” way to practice - only what feels supportive for your body.
Her classes focus on building strength, mobility, and confidence while gently introducing yogic philosophy and mindset practices. Christiana’s goal is to help students move, breathe, and feel better without pressure, perfection, or comparison.
My mission is to help you feel empowered and confident in your yoga practice by teaching you how to adapt each pose to meet your body's unique needs.
I believe yoga should never be a rigid, one-size-fits-all practice. While yoga is for everybody, not every pose works the same way in every body. Your proportions, mobility, strength, energy levels, life experiences, and goals are different from everyone else's—and your practice should honor that.
I created Christiana's Yoga, a virtual yoga studio, in 2024 with a simple goal: to make yoga feel more accessible, supportive, and sustainable for everyday people.
My own wellness journey taught me that consistency can be challenging. Through conversations with students and friends, I realized I wasn't alone. The same thoughts came up again and again:
"I don't have time right now."
"I'll start when life settles down."
"I'm not flexible enough."
"I'm too tired."
"I'm not seeing results fast enough."
Beneath all of these reasons was a common belief: that self-care could wait until conditions are perfect.
For a long time, I thought my role was to help people overcome that mindset. While I still believe our thoughts and beliefs play an important role in whether we show up for ourselves, I discovered something equally powerful through teaching yoga.
Many people weren't struggling because they lacked motivation. They were struggling because they thought they had to force their bodies into shapes that didn't feel right.
As I continued teaching and learning how to adapt poses to support my own body, my purpose became clear.
I shifted my focus toward teaching with curiosity instead of perfection. Rather than encouraging students to fit themselves into yoga, I help them learn how to fit yoga to themselves.
Every class at Christiana's Yoga is designed to help you explore options, discover what works best for your body, and practice with greater self-awareness and self-compassion. My goal is that the skills you learn in class will stay with you wherever you practice, giving you the confidence to personalize any yoga experience to your needs.
Because yoga isn't about performing the perfect pose.
It's about creating a practice that supports you, meets you where you are, and helps you keep showing up for yourself—one breath, one movement, and one choice at a time.
When it comes to life outside of yoga, I am a wife, mom of 2, dog mom, and I love DIY crafting and nature.
So, if I can snag a free moment you can find me doing some kind of craft like making bracelets (you can see some below), painting, or making toxin free home items, or I’ll be out in nature hiking, or paddle boarding.
I like to goof around, trying not to take myself too seriously is my personal motto, and my sarcasm is a fun trait that gets me into trouble occasionally. You might see these personality traits show up during practice from time to time.
I love pairing my practice with a bracelet as a tangible reminder to stay focused on my personal journey. If you would like to do the same, I would love to make one for you.
